Tanna Torkelson
Yoga Instructor
Tanna Torkelson completed her Yoga Teacher Training in 2014 with the hope of pairing yoga offerings to her private nutritional practice. As a Registered Dietitian, she believes the practice of yoga helps cultivate integrity within the body as well as the mind and that a regular yoga practice can help her clients with mindfulness even in the kitchen.
As a stay home mother of two, Tanna eventually started up a small wellness company that afforded her the opportunity to work with a multitude of communities. She routinely tailors classes and modifies postures for the specific class sequencing for specific needs. From athletic teams to corporate organizations, nursing homes, to crossfit gyms, Tanna has worked with all ages and abilities. She is known for meeting students 'where they are' in their ability and sharing yoga in a safe, accessible format.
Tanna is a wife, mother, dietitian and yoga teacher trainer. She loves Jesus, reading, hiking, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
"Practicing yoga is an essential part of my life, sharing it is a joy."
